Mel: An AI Assistant Built for Radius Agents
The Project
Partnered on product design and creative direction for Mel, a proprietary AI assistant developed for Radius real estate agents. Worked cross-functionally to shape a cohesive product identity that included user experience design, brand voice, and marketing strategy. Mel was recognized with the Inman Innovator Award for Best Use of AI in Real Estate.
Provided design QA during implementation and contributed to long-term roadmap planning to support scalability as Radius’ user base grew.
The Scope
Supported the end-to-end creative execution of the mobile experience, from onboarding flows to dashboard UI, with a focus on visual clarity and brand consistency. Partnered with developers to implement an accessible color system and refine user flows to improve usability and agent efficiency.
Developed supporting marketing assets and internal decks to communicate Mel’s impact and features across teams and stakeholders.
Provided design QA during implementation and contributed to long-term roadmap planning to ensure the experience scaled with Radius’ growing user base.
The Solve
Collaborated with product and executive leadership to position Mel as a key differentiator in a competitive PropTech landscape. Helped bring to market a mobile AI assistant with embedded MLS access, compliance guidance, and automated content creation, all tailored to state-specific real estate practices. Mel became a core element of Radius’ value proposition and a reflection of the brand’s commitment to smart, scalable tools for agents.
